Practical session
Receive practical training and prepare for the official Big Break event.
Women’s board break
The first board breaks will be the largest women’s board break to date and a symbol of INpowerment in the fight against GBV.
Mixed board break
Remaining participants will join the cause by breaking a board of their own—men are welcome here!
Mingle and make your way home
The event draws to a close at approximately 21h00. Feel free to mingle before making your way home safely.
Why must I buy a ticket for two people?
To participate in the INpowered Big Break, you will need a practical partner. Your ticket will allow both you and your ticket partner to participate fully in the evening’s event!
Your personal board, to break your own personal barriers and records – of priceless value!
Your ticket includes booking fees – no surprise costs later!
There must be a minimum of one female per ticket.
We also offer multiple tickets to facilitate group bookings.

What’s the niche between ninja and nothing?
At INpowered, we believe that most self-defense courses fail to INpower women and girls against gender-based violence. That’s because they teach unrealistic, complicated routines that require physical strength most individuals don’t possess.
Unless you’re a ninja who participates in combat training daily, these self-defense courses equip you with little more than a false sense of security. But we can’t expect women and girls to simply do nothing when faced with a personal threat.
That’s our niche.
INpowered gives women and girls information and practical training to prevent physical confrontations and protect themselves when confrontation can’t be avoided. The training is simple, easy to remember, and genuinely INpowering.
We’re passionate about reaching every woman in South Africa. Your participation in the 2026 INpowered Big Break helps us raise funds to offer the complete Personal Protection Program to over 1,000 girls who can’t afford it.
